On the occasion of November 25, our center developed various activities aimed at raising awareness, reflection and education in equality.

Informative talk for students about stereotypes
These complementary proposals seek to encourage critical thinking, promote respect and involve the entire educational community in the prevention of sexist violence.
Posters on the doors
Over the course of two weeks, in tutoring sessions, the students worked on developing their own slogans and posters related to equality, respect and the prevention of gender-based violence. Each group reflected on the message they wanted to convey and designed their poster in a creative way; in some cases, several proposals were even developed per classroom, thus expanding the variety of ideas and approaches.
On Monday, November 24, all these posters were placed on the classroom doors, becoming a visual journey that collects the voices, reflections and commitments of the students. The activity aims to promote critical thinking, participation and the visibility of the work carried out during the tutorials.
Musical auditions
At our high school, the music department organizes musical auditions to liven up the entrances and exits of the center.
Throughout the week of November 24th to 28th, we can listen to a special selection of songs when we leave the classrooms.
On the occasion of November 25, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the songs are chosen for their message of strength, denunciation, empowerment and reflection. Through music, we want to contribute to raising awareness in the educational community and promote a culture of respect and equality.
Thus, during the departures of that week we had:
· “Matriarchs and struggle” – Tanxugueiras: The strength of tradition and the pride of Galician women.
· "La puerta violeta" - Rozalén: A contemporary anthem against sexist violence.
· “Running out” – Amaral: An emotional story about the need to escape from a relationship that hurts.
· "Let her dance" - Melendi, Alejandro Sanz and Arkano: A song about the freedom to be yourself.
· “Ella” – Bebe: Message of recovery, courage and rebirth.
· “Badly” – Rosalía: A story that invites you to reflect on toxic relationships and warning signs.
Choosing books in the library
On the occasion of November 25, the Library's Dynamization Team prepared a careful selection of books focused on reflection, respect and equality. These special readings were available throughout that week in the central space of the library, in full view of all students so that they could discover new voices, pause for a moment and take home those works that they find inspiring.
The selection seeks to open paths for critical thinking, promote dialogue and provide stories that help us better understand the world around us.
Talk from the program "You Choose"
On Monday 24th, students in 4th grade of ESO and 3rd grade of PDC attended a didactic talk and debate, given by Jessica Penelas, a worker at Aldaba, as part of the Xunta de Galicia program "Whoever doesn't read you, you choose" which promotes professional guidance free from gender stereotypes and equal opportunities between men and women, the promotion of co-education and contributing to the disappearance of the gender gap in the workplace, especially in Vocational Training.
These talks and debates are led by staff from associations, foundations or clusters (as is the case) in sectors traditionally characterised by a low female presence. The aim is to raise awareness of these sectors, promoting vocations and breaking gender taboos.
