What is the "Donas de Si" project?
The "Donas de Si" program has as its main objective the visibility and valorization of the participation and production of women as fundamental pieces in the configuration and development of contemporary Galician society. It aims to recognize their political, social, artistic, scientific and cultural role, overcoming the traditional vision that presented their contributions as purely anecdotal or secondary.
To achieve this, it proposes to carry out an overall approach, which takes into account the gender variable, to relevant figures —especially those forgotten or hidden— from our history, in order to construct and disseminate the female historical memory of Galicia.
Our project at the high school
At our educational center we actively participate in the “Donas de Si” program, developing a collaborative project that combines research, creativity and social commitment.
Through the different sections of this website, we will collect the work carried out by students and teachers to give visibility to the role of women in society and reflect on equality from different perspectives.
